New Bill That Would Allow Drivers To Hit Protesters If They Are Standing On The Streets

Last year there were many posts and videos about the Dodge Ram driver who was plowing through protesters that were standing in the middle of the street in Durham, NC who were there voicing their opinion against the police.

In the video we can see as the truck driver pushed it’s way through the crowd of people, while they were trying to stop the massive truck by pounding on the hood, but the driver of the 2500 Dodge pickup truck keept on rolling right on through the people. As we expected at that time, this situation caused a big back and forth only to have all of the cards fall in hand of the driver of the truck. Since then, we have seen many bills passed to take the situation one step further because, lately it had become something that is a lot more prevalent than it used to be. According to CNN, new bills have been passed in the states of Florida, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and North Dakota so that if a driver runs over a protester who is doing stupid things in the middle of the street, he can be released of some of the liability that you would otherwise be held accountable for should you run over just another person in the street.

Now, don’t get us wrong. We are not saying that you should go out there running over people and before doing anything we would recommend you to check out the local laws in your state. Take a look at the video down below that shows the protesters reactions to the idea that the truck driver is not going to have charges levied against him by the police.
